FESTIVAL VIBES: WHITE FOX BOUTIQUE

Hey babes! Here in Canada, the snow just does not seem to want to stop falling. But, my mind is somewhere far from snow and winter wonderlands. I've been daydreaming of sandy beaches and the city int he the summer. Since I do live in Canada, a lot of my clothing is for the colder winter months, so I have no need at the moment to purchase any more cozy sweaters and boots. What I really need is some cute summer clothes, since I have a lot of exciting things coming up this year (one being OSHEAGA!) that I will definitely share!

Australian online boutiques are killing it right now (for my style atleast). Off the shoulder items, flowy printed playsuits and the coveted maxi dresses are all items I'm dying to get my hands on. The top I is the very first item of clothing I've purchased for spring and summer, and I can't wait to wear this out!
This is such a flattering shirt for any body type. I personally enjoy off the shoulder on my petite frame, but anybody could pull this off. White looks great against tanned skin, and the crepe material of the shirt gives a flirty and boho look. Here, I've paired it with denim high waisted shorts (it's very cropped), but this would also look amazing for spring with high waisted blue denim jeans or a printed maxi. This will also be a great beach essential to throw on over a bikini.

White Fox Boutique has loads of beautiful pieces for affordable prices, but know that shipping to Canada is 18$, but it's worth it. This shirt arrived from Australia after only 3 days.
You can order this top and check out their site here!

I plan to order many more cute items, so there's a good possibility of a collective haul once I'm moved into the new apartment. Leave a comment if you'd love to see one, I may film it.

Have a great day x

APARTMENT WISHLIST

Moving day is coming up faster than I had imagined, and I decided it's time to start thinking about how I want to decorate my new bedroom. The rooms are small, so I'm painting the walls a light grey colour, and using dark wood and mirrors to make the space cozy, yet feel larger and lighter. Here are a few items from Urban Outfitters on my wish list:

*NOT MY PHOTOS*

Gold accents and a fluffy light purple bed will brighten up the space and look great against the dark wood. I'm planning to buy a nice fur throw blanket to warm up the space even more. I'm going for  boho but a bit more glam, so I guess we will see how this all plays out. I hope you got some inspiration from these items, I know I did. When I'm finally settled in (a few months from now atleast) I will definitely film a room tour if requested!
Speaking of filming, I'd love to start up my YouTube again, I feel like I have a lot of awesome recipes and natural beauty tricks I can share with you. As well as a collective spring/summer haul of the items I've started to order for the warmer weather (that's insanely far away but it's good to be prepared, right?).  Leave any requests in my tumblr asked linked in my "connect" page and

Cinnamon Protein Pancakes

Hey babes! I'm here with another recipe that I've been loving lately. If you're one of those people who love sweet and sugary breakfasts on the weekend, you'll love this yummy substitution for the regular fluffy pancakes. These pancakes, along with the fruit, will provide you with protein and fibre to fill you up and fuel your day. They are perfect post-run and post-workout. Unlike regular waffles, pancakes and french toast, which are hard for your body to digest, these pancakes will not leave you feeling bloated at all! This breakfast is family and boyfriend approved, so I hope you enjoy them as well! Let's get into the recipe:

Things You Will Need:
-1 1/2 scoops of protein powder (preferably natural as always, vanilla or chocolate flavour would be the yummiest!)
- dash of baking powder
- quite a large amount of cinnamon
- almond milk (no specific amount, enough to bring the batter to a more liquid-like consistency)
-1 egg
- a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup
-toppings of your choice (I recommend berries and banana)

What To Do:
1. mix all ingredients together in a bowl until it comes to a regular pancake consistency (not too liquid like, it will not cook properly)
2. cook on each side until golden brown
3. add your toppings and ENJOY!

Above is the powder that I use, I definitely recommend it! It is available at most grocery and
supplement stores in Canada.
