Hey babes! This is my first fitness post, and I'm so excited to share this part of my life with you! Fitness and overall health is very important to me as an athlete. As a sprinter, my legs and my butt need to be very strong to get the power I need in a race. Here's my new favourite leg/butt workout for all you runners out there and anyone who wants sexy, strong legs!
8x8 Goblet Squat Workout with Dumbbell
First of all, you need to know how to do a goblet squat. It's basically your regular proper squat, but instead your legs are a tiny bit further apart and you're holding a dumbbell, medicine ball or weight plate in front of you, like a goblet. This workout will also target your abs as well as quads and glutes.
-8 goblet squats
-30 second plank
-repeat 8 sets without rest (unless needed)
The planks in between sets will serve as your rest, making it harder. If you prefer, just jog in place for 30 seconds between sets, as it will also be great cardio, even without the planks.
Make sure to stretch afterwards and restore nutrients to your body!

Mango Strawberry Smoothie
You will need:
-Blender
-I/2 cup of frozen strawberries
-1/2 cup of frozen mangoes
-1 full banana
-Almond milk
-Vanilla whey protein
The first thing you're going to do is throw in your frozen fruit. Then break your banana up so it will be easier to blend, and add those pieces as well. Lastly, add your almond milk (or any liquid you prefer in smoothies, this is just my preference!) as well as your whey protein powder (optional). Today I didn't use the whey protein, because I prefer the taste without it. Blend all ingredients together and enjoy! :)
