To be honest, I hadn't planned this blog post. I had just gotten back from a run and ab workout, and was planning to make some asparagus as a snack, as I wasn't particularly hungry, but I went to the fridge and found they were not good anymore. So, I rummaged through the fridge and found the only veggies we had left were a bag of potatoes. So, I got the idea of making some home made healthy fries, because come on, who doesn't love fries?! Here is what I did:
What you need:
Potatoes
Coconut Oil (optional)
Salt (optional)
What to do:
Wash and slice your potatoes (I chose to leave the skin on for flavour and crispiness)
Lightly brush the slices with coconut oil (if you'd like)
Bake in the oven at 400F and watch until they're cooked to your liking (I cooked mine for 20-30 minutes)
Dash with sea salt
These actually turned out delicious and I'm eating them while I write this. I knew I had to share this easy recipe with you, because it is completely clean and so easy! A perfect snack for anytime.
